AYL Football has produced an outstanding atmosphere for competitive tackle football in the Denver Metro area for over 45 years. Our club member teams are focused on teaching teamwork, sportsmanship, and leadership in a physical education program that is fun and promotes a lifelong love of the game of football! It is primarily a community based league that supports youth playing with friends and families in closer proximity of where they live. We offer competitive play for all levels of talent from ages 6 to 14. The AYL is comprised of nine member clubs. Click on one of the helmets below to find out more about each club and to register. The season runs from August - Mid November with practice starting in July. We start teams at the 1st grade level and end at the 8th grade group. Our community based leagues (NFC, AFC, CFC) represents our premier product. NFC - This represents experienced players that show the highest level of competition in the AYL AFC/AFC-N - These divisions represents the largest number of players in our league. It is for experienced players that are striving to reach NFC level of play, but not quite there yet. AFC-S - This is our entry level of play and is intended for only those at an early level of experience (1 to 2 years) in competitive, tackle football. AYL Football Joins Colorado Youth Football Alliance AYL Football is a founding member of the new Colorado Youth Football Alliance. The Colorado Youth Football Alliance currently has 12 members, both Flag and Tackle Football organizations, accross Colorado. The Colorado Youth Football Alliance will work together to enhance the experience of youth football athletes and their families, raise operational and safety standards for youth football organizations and celebrate the game of youth football throughout the state of Colorado.
